Tan Sri Samshuri Arshad

The Honorable Tan Sti Samshuri Arshad was born in  Mersing Johor on the 5th of May 1942. and he joined the RMP on the 1st of November 1962.  He  served the force for 35 years and retired on the 5th of May 1997. He has 4 children and in a true golfer. Some of the positions he held before are as follows :

1. As the Commandant of the RMP College.

2. Head of the Crime Investigation Department for Perak.

3. Deputy Director of Training for RMP.

4. Deputy Director of the RMP Crime Investigation Department.

5. Head of Police for the State of Selangor.

6. Head of Police for the State of Perak.

7. Head of Police for the State of Sabah.

8. Management Director for RMP.

9. Deputy Inspector General Of Police.

He has attended various courses in  Autralia, Japan, Korea, University of  Cambridge United Kingdom, Royal College Defense Studies United Kingdom, AMP Universiti Harvard USA, Nadwah Islam Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and in Universiti Islam Antara Bangsa Malaysia.

He is currently one of the Board of Trustees for Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia
