Datuk Seri Azman Ujang, former Bernama editor-in-chief, has been made chairman of advertising agency Creative Republic Sdn Bhd. Azman Ujang has over 35 years of experience in journalism and is a well-known figure.

The company says in a statement in a statement that Azman has over 35 years experience in journalism and is a well-known figure not only among journalists locally and internationally, but is also a much-sought after adviser and confidante of many public figures in Malaysia. 

Prior to leaving Bernama in 2008, Azman has also served as its General Manager. 

He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia.
