The Honourable Tan Sri Hussin Hj. Ismail was a former Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Royal Malaysian Police.  His excellent achievements are attributed to 39 years of working experience in RMP ranging from serving in Special Branch of the RMP at various levels including serving in Moscow as a diplomat.

He also served as the officer in charge of police districts and as a chief to police for the state of  of Terengganu and Johore, and was also a Director of Internal Security and Public Order department of the RMP before being appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police for the RMP.

Currently, he is the chairman of JAKs Resources Berhad, Director of Tecnic Berhad and a few other limited companies.

At the same time, he is also a member of the Police Force Commission.
