Dato Kamaruddin Mat Desa

Board Of Trustees 

Dato Kamaruddin Bin Mat Desa was born on the 8 of January 1951 in Kedah. He joined the RMP on the 1st of January 1968 and served for 39 years and retired on the  8th of January 2007. 

Some of the important posts which he held during his tenure in RMP are as follows ;

1. RMP Field Force Platoon Commander

2. Head of Police for the district of  Sabak Bernam

3. As an inspector in the Sepang district.

4. Head of the Traffic Division for the state of Selangor.

5. Deputy Chief of Police for the district of  Brickfields .

6. Senior officer for the Crime Investigation Department for the state of  Selangor.

7. Secretary of Police Malaysia Bukit Aman

8. Head of the Crime Investigation Department for the state of Kuala Lumpur

9. Deputy Chief of Police for the state of Terengganu

10. Deputy Director for the Commercial Crime Investigation Department Bukit Aman 

He has attended various courses, including taking an off campus course with Universiti Teknologi Mara in Law, obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law at the International Islamic University , and is an licensed advocate and solicitor for the Malaya High Court. 

He has also participated in Malaysian delegation to the UN Criminal Justice System, Vienna, education visit to the USA (Langley), also to the headquarters of the FBI in the USA.

He is one of the Board Of Trustee for Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia.
