Having interest in Law since small, she attended the prestigious University of Huddersfield in United Kingdom and got the LLB with honours in 1996.

Upon returning to Malaysia, rather than practicing law, she decided to go into the education sector working closely with various universities including the likes of UPM, UKM and others.

Azura then had a stint with Majlis Amanah Rakyat at the Higher Education Department and then she was seconded to MARA Inc and later to the Director's General office.

She then joined an Oil and Gas company Buraq Oil as the communications manager where she helped the company to grow it's oil and gas distribution business in the rural areas of Malaysia.

Having extensive experience in organizational and company management, she then joined Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia to help the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive to manage the day to day operations of the foundation.

She is currently the General Manager for Yayasan Pengaman Malaysia.
